During this season of planning and preparation, the Alliance’s Board of Directors, Science Advisory Board, and the staff take time to reflect on the year coming to a close, and we develop our strategic plan that shapes the year to come. This is a relatively quiet, internal process, but the results are directly seen throughout the Altar Valley, and none of it would be possible without the generosity of folks like you.
Your giving to the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance helps to benefit:
– On-the-ground projects that enhance and restore specific sites throughout the Altar Valley.
– An atmosphere of collaboration where common ground is sought out, and differences in perspectives are valued, rather serving as a reason for polarization.
– Stewardship of one of the largest undeveloped watersheds in Pima County.
Workshops in the Altar Valley where knowledge is shared and new ideas are generated.
– The direction of practical research in partnership with University of Arizona and other scientists in the region.
We remain indebted to all of you who support the work happening out here in the Altar Valley. On this Giving Tuesday, we hope you’ll consider giving again this year to benefit the Alliance’s work to conserve the Altar Valley for future generations.
