Global Rangelands, Rangelands West, and the state rangelands sites are a collective effort (called The Rangelands Partnership) by 19 western land-grant universities collaborating with international partners. The Rangelands Partnership is a worldwide, multidisciplinary collaboration that provides resources needed to inform public debate and decision-making regarding today’s grand challenges of food security, climate adaptation, public health, environmental impacts, and economic development as they relate to rangelands around the world.

In 2014, the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance partnered with Global Rangelands via the University of Arizona to create the Altar Valley Collection. This collection focuses on sharing information on history and research that pertains to the Altar Valley. The Alliance regularly updates the entries in the collection with both new and newly discovered information. You can view the Altar Valley Collection here.
