We were thrilled to be awarded a grant of $50,000 from the Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Foundation, which was matched dollar for dollar by Pima County. With these grants the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance may continue to partner with the Foundation and Pima County to assess the best practices for watershed management and erosion control, with the ultimate vision of restoring our beautiful Altar Valley to its natural health and productivity.
